Dr. Albert Plesman School (1954-1994)
Op woensdagmiddag 27 januari 1954 werd door burgemeester H.M. van Fenema de nieuwe openbare lagere school aan de A.J. van der Moolenstraat geopend.
In het kader van de nieuwe wet op basisonderwijs fuseerde de kleuterschool Josina van den Enden school met de BS dr. Albert Plesmanschool in juli 1983.
Het gebouw werd gesloopt in 1995 i.v.m. nieuwbouw woonwijk.
